Premature withdrawalFCNR(B) follows the lower of the contracted rate or rate for the run period under the current guidelines; while a loan against FCNR is outstanding, preclosure is unavailable. Special FCNR(B) cannot close within one year; after one year and before three years pays 3.50%, and between three and below five years pays the applicable run-period rate less 1 percentage point.
