Eligibility
- All farmers are eligible, but the farmer-producer must be from the warehouse/cold-storage hinterland and must not store produce for hoarding or speculation.
- The produce must have been harvested by the applicant in that season and be free of another financial institution's charge; where a crop loan exists, proceeds are used to repay it.
- The pledged receipt must be issued by an approved National e-Repository (NERL) and endorsed in the bank's favour.
Passing a listed condition does not mean the bank will approve an application.
